Neon Apex Rush: how to stop losing time on corners

August 6, 2026 · Matthias Keller

Neon Apex Rush looks like a mash-the-boost racer, but the higher tiers punish that fast. The players topping the leaderboards are hoarding boost for the long straights, not burning it mid-corner.

Drifting is where you actually make up time. Start your drift a fraction earlier than feels natural and you'll clear the apex with more speed than braking ever gives you. It felt wrong at first, then it clicked.

Switch off tilt controls if you're struggling. The touch layout is more consistent for tight tracks, and consistency beats raw reaction time here.

Learn one track at a time. Grinding a single course until you know every corner does more for your times than shotgunning the whole roster.
