Hollow Tide Expedition is slow in the best way. You wander a drowned coast, piece together what happened to the people who lived there, and the mystery unspools through environmental details rather than long cutscenes.

Exploration is the core loop, and the game is smart about breadcrumbing. You're rarely lost for long, but you're also never handed the answer. The occasional light puzzle breaks up the walking without turning into a brainteaser.

The mood is the real draw. The lighting, the muffled ambient sound, the way the tide shifts what you can reach, all of it pulls you in. Play it with headphones and give it your attention.
